NEBRASKA RADIO NETWORK: “Waters of the United States” policy down the drain – EPA chief in Nebraska

Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt is in Nebraska to discuss with state officials on the decision to rescind the 2015 “Waters of the United States” rule. This ruling allowed the federal government to regulate and oversee all water found on property period. Pruitt says this never should have happened. Pruitt says, “It is all about power. What happened in 2015 the EPA came in and said we are going to define Water of the United States as a puddle, a dry creek bed and a drainage ditch outside of a sub-division. it isn’t just farming and ranching. It is oil and gas. Fundamentally private property owners couldn’t use their land as they have historically.”
